How To Use The Mapping Page

The Mapping page shows how LiveRem automatically aligns your data with our system. You can also review and adjust these mappings to ensure everything matches accurately.

Using this page, you can

  • Review and manage location mappings

  • Match company roles with LiveRem roles

  • Review AI-suggested role mappings

  • Override employee role mappings

  • Search and filter mapping results

  • Upload job descriptions for smarter role matching

The page is divided into three tabs:

  • Locations

  • Company Roles

  • Employees

Each tab lets you manage and fine-tune mappings specific to that category.

Locations

Supports align your company's locations

  • Compare your company’s locations with those listed by LiveRem to ensure they match.

  • If any location appears incorrect or unmatched, click on the LiveRem Location drop-down and enter the correct one.

Company Roles

Sometimes, role titles don’t match exactly. Check each one and, if necessary, click the LiveRem Job Title field to select the correct title.

Mapping has already been confirmed

  • Click the Search icon next to the LiveRem Job Title to view detailed mapping information.

  • In this section, you can compare job descriptions and make adjustments as needed.

  • To update a role title, click on it, then select Save to confirm your changes once the correct role is matched.

AI Suggested Roles

Roles marked as AI Suggested are automatically recommended by the system based on role matching

  • Click on an AI Suggested role to open the Review AI Recommendation window

  • Review the suggested LiveRem role, confidence score, job description, and key responsibilities to check if the match is correct

  • If needed, choose a different role or upload a job description for better matching, then click Accept to save the mapping

Can't find your role? Upload Job Description

  • Drag and drop or upload your Job Description

  • The system will select three most relevant job roles based on the Job Description you uploaded using available data in LiveRem

  • Then you can choose the most relevant role based on the matching percentages by clicking on Select role button

By clicking the Back to manual selection button, you can return to the Market Data page to select job roles manually.

Finally you can accept the role mapping by clicking on the Accept button

Send Feedback

  • If the suggested role match is not accurate, you can provide feedback using the Send feedback option

  • Select one or more reasons explaining why the suggested role may be incorrect

  • You can also add additional comments to provide more context

Employee Overrides

The Employees tab lets you adjust mappings individually, ensuring each unique role in your company is accurately matched.

  • To update a title, search for the employee, click their row to open the popup, make your changes, and click Save

The Employee List is displayed in a table format with the following details:

Status

For Review

  • Indicates that a Location, Role, or Employee Job Title requires your attention.

  • Review the item and complete its mapping to the appropriate LiveRem entry.

Mapped

  • Appears once a Location, Role, or Employee Job Title has been successfully matched.

  • The status updates to Mapped to confirm that the mapping is complete.

Employee ID

Each employee has a unique ID that helps the system identify and map their details correctly to LiveRem.

Name

  • Displays the employee’s full name as recorded in your company’s system.

  • Used for identifying and mapping employees accurately.

Job Title (LiveRem Title)

  • Here you can see the employee’s job title from your company and how it matches with the corresponding title in LiveRem

  • When you link a job title to LiveRem, the mapped title will show in brackets next to your company’s job title.

Assigning LiveRem role to an employee

Clicking on an employee opens a modal where you can select a role from the dropdown under LiveRem roles or Map multiple roles to the same employee.

Map to Multiple Roles

If you click Map to Multiple Roles, the Map to Multiple Roles modal will open.
Here, you can assign up to four roles, and the role percentages must total 100%.

Note: You can check this mapping anytime in People Data by clicking View Employee Details for the selected employee.

Search Employees

  • You can also search for a specific Employee by entering their Name or ID in the Search box.

  • This filters the list as you type.


Filter by Status

  • Use the Status filter to quickly find roles based on their mapping status

  • Available status options include:

    • All Statuses - Displays all roles

    • For review - Shows roles that require manual review or confirmation

    • AI Suggested - Shows roles automatically suggested by the AI role matcher

    • Mapped - Shows roles that have already been confirmed and mapped

  • Selecting a status helps narrow down the role list and makes role management easier

Tips for Accurate Mapping

  • Review AI-suggested matches before accepting them

  • Use filters to quickly find unmapped or review-required roles

  • Upload job descriptions when a suitable role cannot be found

  • Regularly review mappings after importing new employee data

  • Confirm mappings carefully to ensure accurate benchmark reporting
