Welcome to the Market Data Page! This guide will walk you through the steps to explore and analyse salary benchmarks for specific job titles in different locations. Our goal is to provide you with a seamless experience, allowing you to make informed decisions based on comprehensive market data.
Before you start
In order for Market Data insights to populate, you're required to complete integration process to link your HR and payroll systems to LiveRem. Please view the integration guide.

Select job roles and locations
Apply filters (optional)
Click Browse Results to view market data
Searching Jobs
Selecting Jobs and Locations
Job Selection:
To select a job, click the Select jobs drop-down to find the jobs you're looking for
You can choose multiple roles from different job functions
To quickly find a specific role, start typing the job title in the search field within the drop-down
Location Selection:
Click on the Location field to select applicable Locations for the jobs you are looking for.
You can choose more than one location at a time.
Smart Match
Click on Smart Match to enable automatic selection of jobs
Drag and drop or upload your Job Description
Then the system will select three most relevant job roles based on the Job Description you uploaded using available data in LiveRem
By clicking the Back to manual selection button, you can return to the Market Data page to select job roles manually.
You can refine your search by applying additional filters by tapping on Filter button
Filter
Adjust your search to find the most relevant results using four Benchmark filters:
Industry - compare roles within a specific industry
Company Size - filter by number of employees
Revenue - narrow results by company revenue range
Community - roles in specific community
Organisations - allows you to include or exclude non-profit organisations from your search
New hires only - view data from roles hired in the last 3 months
Exclude founders - remove founder-level salaries from results
Browsing Results
Once you are satisfied with your selection, click on Browse Results to search the database
Once you select a job, location, or apply any filters, two additional buttons will appear next to the Browse Results button:
Reset - Clears your current search criteria and resets all selections.
Save Search - Allows you to save your selected filters, so you can easily reuse them without reapplying each time you return to the Market Data page.
To protect data privacy, minimum data requirements must be met before results are displayed. If there aren’t enough data points available, you’ll see a message saying ‘Not enough data’. If this happens:
Try removing some filters, or
Search for a different role using the job tree
This ensures privacy-protected data is displayed.
Explore Market Data
Once your search returns results, a graph will display the market data for the selected jobs and locations.
Also, you can see three visual options available on the top left corner of the graph.
You can switch between three views:
Chart - view salary data visually
Table - view detailed data (default)
Trends - see how salaries change over time
Magnifying Glass Icon
Click the magnifying glass icon to view detailed information about the selected role, including:
Benefits – Displays the percentage of companies offering different types of benefits for the selected role.
Details – Provides key insights such as percentiles, trust level, number of companies, sample size, target percentile, and other relevant data.
Job Description – Shows the LiveRem job description (JD) for the selected role.
Analysing Data
Chart View
To see medians:
Use the Company, Male, and Female checkboxes to see median salary data.
This lets you compare the overall company median as well as gender-specific medians side by side.
Summary box
Click on any data point of any specific job’s graph box to open a Summary Box with key information as in below image
Role Trends
By selecting Trends button, you’ll be able to view a graph illustrating how the value of a specific role has changed over time, along with historical data trends in an organised manner.
Hovering over a data point displays the salary/value at that point of time.
Export
Click the Export button to download an Excel file containing both percentile and trend data for your selected jobs and filters - ready for analysis and sharing.
Sharing Results
You’ll find the Share button on both the Chart and Trends views.
Clicking it allows you to download the search results as images, making it easy to share them with others.
The Market Data dashboard helps you confidently benchmark salaries and make informed compensation decisions using real-time market insights.
