The People Data page helps you understand your workforce by tracking salary trends, role changes, and how employees compare to market benchmarks - all in one place. This guide will walk you through its key features, helping you make more informed and confident decisions.

Before you start

Make sure your HR and payroll systems are connected to LiveRem to view complete and accurate data. See the integration guide.

Employee List

The Employee List compares your company's employee salaries to that of the market, and applies a 'Trust Score'.

The Employee List is displayed in a table format with the following details:

Status

Indicates whether the employee has been mapped to a LiveRem job title.

  • For review – Shown when the employee hasn’t been mapped yet or when their role or job title has changed after a resync.

  • Mapped – Shown once the employee has been successfully mapped.

Employee Name/ID

Displays the employee’s first name and last name and their unique identifier (Employee ID).

  • If displaying names is turned off in your Settings, only the Employee ID will be shown.

  • You can update this preference anytime in Settings > Organisation Details.

Job title

Displays the employee’s job title in your company, with the mapped LiveRem job title shown in brackets.

Department

Indicates the department the employee belongs to.

Market Position

Reflects how the employee’s salary compares to the company’s target percentile.

You can set your organisation’s target percentile in Settings > Organisation Details.

Based on this target, each employee is assigned one of the following positions:

Market Position

What It Means

Way Below Target

Your salary is more than 15% lower than the target salary percentile

Below Target

Your salary is 5% to 15% lower than the target salary percentile

On Target

Your salary is within 5% higher or lower than the target salary percentile

Above Target

Your salary is 5% to 15% higher than the target salary percentile

Way Above Target

Your salary is more than 15% higher than the target salary percentile

Base Salary

Shows the employee’s FTE equivalent base salary – that is, what they would earn if working full time. (This may be pro-rata if the employee is part-time.)

Market value

The benchmarked salary value based on market data.

Difference

Calculated as:
Base Salary – Market Value

Shows how far above or below the market rate the employee's salary is.

Trust Score

indicates the reliability of the market data available for each role. It reflects how much data we have behind each salary benchmark.

  • A minimum of 3 companies is required for a data point to be displayed.

  • The more data we have, the higher the Trust Score.

  • A 5-star rating means the role is backed by more than 80 data points, offering a high level of confidence in the market comparison.

This helps you assess how robust and trustworthy the salary benchmarks are for each role.

Search Employees

  • You can also search for a specific Employee by entering their Name or ID in the Search box.
