Review the last 30 days of admin and user activity in your LiveRem workspace

The Audit Log tab in Settings gives you a 30-day view of admin and user activity in your LiveRem workspace, so you can investigate access changes, confirm who exported what, and meet compliance or incident-response requirements.

Who can see it

The Audit Log tab is visible to any user with the Organisation Settings — View function (typically Admins). Limited Access users do not see this tab.

What's logged

LiveRem currently writes an audit log entry for the following events:

  • User invited — a new team member was invited to the workspace

  • User role changed — an admin updated a team member's role

  • User removed — a team member was removed from the workspace

  • User login — a successful sign-in via email and password, Google, or SSO

  • Data exported — a user downloaded data from People Data, Market Data, or another surface; the entry records the surface and the format (CSV, XLSX, PDF)

  • Limited access assignment changed — Department Access or User Access was adjusted for a Limited Access user

Reading an entry

Each row shows:

  • Timestamp — when the event happened, in your local time zone

  • Actor — the user who performed the action

  • Event type — one of the events listed above

  • Target — who or what the action was applied to (e.g. the invited user, the affected employee)

  • Details — any additional context, such as the new role for a role change or the row count for an export

Filtering and sorting

  • Use the Event type filter at the top of the table to narrow the list to one or more event types.

  • Click any column header to toggle sort direction. Timestamp defaults to newest-first.

Retention

LiveRem retains audit log entries for 30 days. Older entries are deleted automatically and cannot be recovered. Retention is not currently configurable per workspace.

If you need a permanent record of an event, take a screenshot of the relevant row before it ages out.

Things to note

  • Login and export events are written from the user's browser, so if the browser is offline or the tab is closed mid-action the event may not be recorded. Server-side actions — invites, role changes, access changes — are always recorded.

  • Audit log entries are immutable. No one in your workspace can edit or delete them; they can only age out.

  • If you need a broader compliance picture (security events, infrastructure changes), contact LiveRem support through the in-app chat.
