Set Up API Credentials in ELMO
Access Security Profiles:
Log in to your ELMO Administration portal.
Navigate to the Security Profiles section.
Select Add Profile and choose the API Access Manager security profile.
Provide a name and description for this profile, then click Save.
Assign the Profile to a User:
Go to the Users tab.
Search for the user you wish to assign as the API Access Manager.
Select the user and click Save.
Confirm the user assignment under the Summary tab by clicking Confirm.
Validate API Access Manager Permissions:
Ensure the user can access the API Credentials Management console with limited permissions to revoke credentials.
Generate API Credentials in ELMO
Have a user with Company Admin privileges create API credentials via the API Management console.
Record the following credentials securely:
Client ID
Client Secret
Configure LiveRem Integration
Log in to your LiveRem account.
Navigate to the Integrations section in the settings menu.
Select ELMO and click Connect.
Provide API Credentials
Enter the Client ID and Client Secret from ELMO into the LiveRem integration setup page.
Click Save to finalise the integration.
Verify Data Sync
Once connected, LiveRem will automatically begin syncing data from ELMO.
Check the Mapping page to see the data has flowed through and is ready for mapping.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues:
Verify the API credentials (Client ID, Client Secret) are correct and active.
Ensure the user assigned as the API Access Manager has sufficient permissions in ELMO.
