BambooHR Integration Steps

Connect BambooHR to LiveRem to automatically sync your employee and salary data. This enables real-time insights and accurate benchmarking. BambooHR's technical steps can be found here if you need more information.

Before You Start

✔ You need Admin access in BambooHR
✔ You must be able to generate an API key
✔ Setup takes around 5–10 minutes

Assign to Sub Organisation

  1. You can connect multiple integrations of the same type with sub organisations

  2. Find your sub organisation by clicking on the Assign to Sub-Organisation dropdown

BambooHR Domain

  1. Find your organisation's domain. The format will likely be 'Your organisation'.BambooHR.com

  2. ​Insert this into the field in the LiveRem integration box.

API key

  1. Log into BambooHR

  2. ​In the upper right hand corner of any page, click your name to get to the User Context Menu.

  3. If you have the right permissions (Admin), you should see an option called API Keys.

  4. ​Select API Keys.

  5. ​Copy the API key and add into the box on LiveRem for the BambooHR connection.

Custom field configurations

  1. Use this section to map your BambooHR compensation fields.

  2. All fields are optional. You can leave them blank to use default settings.

  3. Enter a Report ID only if you want to use BambooHR’s Report API instead of the standard API.

  4. Use exact field names from BambooHR (e.g., Annual Salary, Hours, Hourly Rate).

  5. Helps ensure accurate salary and hourly calculations, especially for part-time staff.

Once all the necessary fields are completed, click Connect button to integrate into LiveRem. Your connection is complete!
